Haiti Disaster Relief Fund!
Rotary is an international organization with 50 clubs in Hudson, Bergen and Passaic Counties. There are several area Northern NJ Rotarians in Les Cayes about 120 miles southwest of Port au Prince. They were there doing community projects in Les Cayes at the time of the earthquake. Now refugees are pouring into that city seeking food, medicine and shelter. To assist in meeting that need, the fifty local Hudson, Bergen and Passaic Rotary Clubs are being challenged to raise $250,000 by the first week in February. The Secaucus Rotary Club will try to raise $5,000 as our share of the relief effort.
